Job Description

Proximus Global is looking for an AI Security Specialist to lead and support the secure design, deployment, and governance of AI across the organization. The role focuses on identifying and mitigating risks associated with AI technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal security requirements, and embedding security controls throughout the AI lifecycle.

This position is located in Security Governance team, under the CISO responsibility. The person will be in close contact with security specialists, privacy specialists, AI specialists, various IT teams, and legal department.

Key Responsibilities

AI security governance & policy

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce AI security policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Define baseline security controls based on AI risk levels

Risk management & compliance

  • Perform AI risk assessments and define risk mitigation plans
  • Support audits, compliance reviews and security certifications (ex: ISO 27001)

AI lifecycle management

  • Integrate security in the lifecycle of AI systems (data collection, model training & validation, deployment & monitoring…)
  • Define and enforce secure development practices for AI systems

Threat modelling & vulnerability management

  • Identify AI-specific threats (prompt injections attacks, data poisoning, etc.)
  • Conduct threat modelling exercise for AI use cases
  • Define controls to mitigate these vulnerabilities

Third party & vendor risk management

  • Assess security of external AI tools, APIs, and platforms
  • Define minimum security requirements for AI vendors
  • Support procurement and vendor evaluations from a security perspective

Awareness & advisory

  • Provide expert guidance to business and technical teams on secure AI adoption
  • Deliver awareness sessions and training on AI risks and safe usage
  • Support stakeholders in designing secure AI use cases

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT security, risk management, or governance
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and associated risks
  • Strong understanding of: AI/ML concepts and architectures and AI/ML threat landscapes
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments and data security and privacy principles
  • Knowledge of AI security risks and secure development practices
  • Strong expertise in IT security risk management
  • Experience with ISO 27001 / ISO 27701 controls, ISO 42001 / NIST AI RMF and GDPR and other data protection regulations
  • Experience with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act…) and security frameworks and standards
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical security controls
