The Digital SEO Specialist position provides an exciting opportunity for a digital search professional to join a multifaceted Global Search Team. This role will analyze web content and identify optimization opportunities to support execution of content transformation into AI-driven search answers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in search marketing, combined with a firm understanding in answer driven content and the evolution of customer search behavior. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Global Customer Marketing Center of Excellence, located in Bangalore, India, and will help to improve the customer’s digital search and buying experience, which will significantly impact the overall growth of the company. This is a critical position within the Global Digital Search Marketing Team and has multiple opportunities for growth.

A Day in the Life

• Collaborate with Product Management, Digital Divisional Teams, and SEO and Digital Channels to support and lead varying SEO initiatives
• Build, review, and edit AI-generated content briefs to identify the optimized way to present information for enhanced customer awareness, engagement and conversion rates
• Regularly supervise and analyze performance data through dashboards to derive SEO insights
• Support SEO inquiries from business partners and colleagues, working quickly to support the constantly evolving search landscape and help address technical SEO requests
• Work with global search teams and local operations teams to improve SERP coverage and profitability, while scaling AI and automation efforts
• Analyze divisional search programs and help to drive adoption of capabilities
• May perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned

Keys to Success

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information technology, or related field

Experience

• Proven experience in SEO with a demonstratable record of optimizing content heavy sites and domains with 10,000+ URLs
• Knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and search engine ranking factors
• Experience with SEO Tools: Looker Studio, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Adobe or similar analytics tools
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to draw conclusions from data and make impactful recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead multiple projects to completion
• Keen attention to detail, and a high regard for quality
• Able to establish relationships, influence others, and work optimally with colleagues across multiple locations
• Superb written, verbal, and presentation skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience using AI-driven solutions to optimize websites within B2B industries
• 5+ years’ SEO experience within the Life Science or B2B industry, particularly with website optimization
• Interaction with scientific researchers or B2B customers in a support or educational context
• Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
