AI is part of how we work and what we build - from LLM-based workflows to intelligent reporting pipelines and entirely new ways of interacting with software. We see it as one of the biggest shifts in modern software development and are excited to explore its potential together.

We're looking for an AI Product Engineer who can navigate ambiguity and enjoy exploring what's possible with modern engineering and AI.

Join our team in Celje, Ljubljana, Maribor, Prishtina or Sarajevo and help build products for ambitious startups, scaleups, and global companies.

What you'll do

• Build products using React, Node.js, and modern AI-assisted development workflows, from the first technical conversations to production deployment.
• Collaborate with designers, product teams, and clients to transform ideas into software that creates real value for users and businesses.
• Own features end-to-end, from early discovery and technical planning through implementation, launch, and iteration, thinking beyond individual components to the complete product experience.
• Use AI as part of your everyday workflow and contribute to how modern engineering practices evolve across the team.
• Take ownership beyond implementation by challenging assumptions, identifying risks, and proposing better approaches.
• Help raise the quality bar by simplifying complexity, improving developer experience, and introducing better tools, technologies, and AI-powered workflows where they create real value.
• Tackle diverse challenges across products that span different industries, business models, and technical domains - no two projects are quite the same.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience building modern web applications with React and Node.js.
• AI is part of how you build software - whether it's Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, agentic workflow, or spec-driven approaches - you're comfortable leveraging AI to increase your effectiveness while applying the engineering judgment needed to validate the outcome.
• Experience taking products and features from idea to production.
• Strong engineering judgment and the ability to balance speed, quality, and pragmatism.
• Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating directly with teammates, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.

Bonus points if you've

• Built AI-powered features, workflows, agents, or LLM integrations.
• Experimented with emerging AI-native ways of building software.
• Worked in startup or product-focused environments.
