Job Description

Lyra Technology Group is a private equity-backed holding company that invests in and operates industry leading technology service businesses. Our companies are operated independently by exceptional management teams. Companies that join our group retain the employees, name, and culture that have made them successful. As a platform of Evergreen Services Group, we never divest from businesses we partner with and approach every decision with the goal of driving sustainable and healthy growth over the long term.

AI Process Consultant

Systems Engineering, a Lyra Technology Group portfolio company, is looking for a strategic, client-focused AI Process Consultant to help our clients navigate the AI landscape with clarity and confidence.

In this role, you won't be focused on building AI systems - you'll be making sure the right ones get built, for the right reasons, and that organizations actually adopt and benefit from them. You'll lead discovery, map workflows, facilitate stakeholder conversations, develop the business case, and guide clients through change. You'll partner closely with our AI Engineer to bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, people, and technology.

Your work as an AI Process Consultant will include several components:

  • Lead AI use case discovery and opportunity assessments with clients
  • Map business processes and workflows to identify where AI delivers the highest value
  • Build and present ROI-driven business cases to executive stakeholders
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted strategic advisor throughout engagements
  • Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, and change management planning
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for our AI engineering team
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and project deliverables
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our AI consulting methodology and internal playbooks
  • Support client adoption by guiding end users through new AI-enabled workflows, including targeted training sessions and practical enablement.

Our ideal AI Process Consultant has the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 3+ years in consulting, business analysis, process improvement, or a client-facing strategy role
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills
  • A genuine curiosity about AI and a solid understanding of its practical business applications
  • Ability to map workflows, structure ambiguous problems, and drive stakeholder alignment
  • Project management experience with a track record of delivering on time
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach - you work well with technical partners and non-technical clients alike
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action, ownership, and helping build a growing AI practice

Preferred

  • Experience in an MSP or technology services environment
  • Hands-on involvement in AI or automation projects
  • Change management certification or methodology experience
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft AI ecosystem and how tools like Copilot and Azure AI can be applied to improve workflows and productivity

Who Thrives in This Role

  • You bring the rare combination of business acumen, people skills, and AI fluency. You're as comfortable in a C-suite conversation as you are digging into a process map. You operate with entrepreneurial energy, a strong ethical compass, and a genuine commitment to delivering value, not just deliverables.

The targeted base salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year and will operate out of the Systems Engineering Office on a hybrid basis.
