Your mission is to build the core of Unum's " Enterprise Superintelligence platform". Born out of ML6, Unum is the operational brain for the modern enterprise It moves organizations past basic AI chatbots by deploying governed autonomous agents that safely integrate with enterprise data, execute complex workflows, and handle real-world operations in production. From adoption-focused user experiences to the core platform infrastructure, you’ll build across every layer of the stack. Are you ready to build the brain of the modern enterprise?

YOUR IMPACT

• Engineering Excellence: Build high impact applications and tools that accelerate Unum’s solutions. You’ll apply AI models in novel ways to solve real world customer and internal workflow problems.

• Impact-Driven Development Identify real needs and build technical solutions around them. You work across the full lifecycle: prototype, iterate, ship and maintain and stay close to the problem you're solving.

• Thoughtful Design Translate AI capabilities into clean, trustworthy experiences. Think carefully about how what you build is used – by end users, by colleagues, or by other systems.

• Agentic Interaction Design how AI agents present their findings and ask for feedback.

WHY YOU

• Experience: min. 1 year of professional experience in software/product engineering with a proven track record of shipping end-to-end products (being a former founder or early engineer at a start up who built a product from scratch is a big plus!).

• Tech Stack Proficiency in Python and in building full stack applications (experience with TypeScript and Terraform are a plus). Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure.

• AI Native Experienced in building LLM powered workflows using common LLM APIs

• Engineering Mindset: You don't just "build what's on the ticket." You think about why something needs to exist, who it serves, and how it fits into the broader Unum vision.
