Aufgaben

• Als AI & ML Engineer entwickelst und optimierst du Softwarelösungen, die AI- und Machine-Learning-Technologien integrieren und deren Ergebnisse zuverlässig sowie skalierbar bereitstellen.
• Machine-Learning-Pipelines für Model Management, Testing, Deployment, Monitoring und Experiment Tracking gehören zu deinem Verantwortungsbereich. Zudem führst du KI-Prototypen in den produktiven Einsatz.
• AI-APIs sowie LLM-basierte Anwendungen setzt du um und sorgst dafür, dass innovative Funktionalitäten in produktiven Systemen nutzbar werden.
• Gemeinsam mit den relevanten Stakeholdern entwickelst du APIs und Architekturen für AI-Funktionalitäten und Datenintegration und bringst dabei etablierte Standards für Softwareentwicklung und Model Governance ein.
• Für Deployment, Betrieb und Automatisierung unserer AI- und ML-Anwendungen auf Microsoft Azure setzt du moderne DevOps- und MLOps-Praktiken ein und stellst einen stabilen sowie skalierbaren Betrieb sicher.
• Interne und externe Data Scientists sowie Engineers unterstützt du bei Best Practices in der Softwareentwicklung und trägst dazu bei, ML-Lösungen produktionsreif umzusetzen.
• Innerhalb agiler Entwicklungszyklen arbeitest du an der Weiterentwicklung von Architekturprinzipien für AI- und Machine-Learning-Anwendungen mit.
• Neue Technologien bewertest du praxisnah, entwickelst Prototypen und unterstützt die Umsetzung sicherer, ethischer und datenschutzkonformer AI-Lösungen

• End-to-end machine learning pipelines, including model management, testing, deployment, monitoring and experiment tracking, are part of your day-to-day work. You also help turn AI prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• AI APIs and LLM-based applications are developed and implemented by you to deliver innovative capabilities within productive systems.

• Responsibility for the deployment, operation and automation of AI and ML applications in Microsoft Azure lies within your scope. Modern DevOps and MLOps practices help you ensure a reliable and scalable production environment.
• Internal and external Data Scientists and Engineers rely on your support and guidance when it comes to software engineering best practices and production-ready ML solutions.
• Working within agile development cycles, you contribute to the evolution of architecture principles and standards for AI and machine learning applications.
• Emerging technologies are something you actively evaluate. You build prototypes and support the implementation of secure, ethical and privacy-compliant AI solutions.

Anforderungen

• Ein abgeschlossenes Masterstudium in Informatik, Informationstechnologie, Künstlicher Intelligenz oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet bildet deine fachliche Grundlage.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung, Optimierung und Implementierung produktionsreifer AI-, Machine-Learning- oder NLP-Anwendungen bringst du mit.
• Die Entwicklung von AI- und ML-Modellen sowie deren erfolgreicher Betrieb in produktiven Umgebungen sind dir vertraut.
• Klassische Data-Science-Verfahren wie Predictive Modeling, Forecasting oder Empfehlungssysteme hast du bereits erfolgreich eingesetzt.
• Erfahrung mit Frameworks für die Entwicklung von LLM-Anwendungen, beispielsweise LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack oder Semantic Kernel, ergänzt dein Profil.
• Python, Git, automatisierte Tests und CI/CD-Pipelines gehören für dich zum professionellen Entwicklungsalltag.
• Mit cloudnativen AI- und ML-Services arbeitest du sicher, idealerweise in Microsoft Azure oder alternativ in AWS.
• Eine strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise, ein hohes Maß an Eigenverantwortung sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse runden dein Profil ab.

• Several years of experience developing, optimizing and implementing production-grade AI, machine learning or NLP applications enable you to move confidently in this role.
• Building AI and ML models and operating them successfully in production environments is part of your expertise.
• Practical experience with traditional data science techniques such as predictive modelling, forecasting or recommendation systems is expected.
• You have worked with frameworks for LLM application development, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack or Semantic Kernel.
• Python, Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines are familiar tools and practices in your daily work.
• Cloud-native AI and ML services are part of your skillset, ideally within Microsoft Azure, alternatively AWS.
