THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity for you who knows that data is only as good as the systems that move it. At Boozt, the Data Intelligence team supports a modern digital business by building resilient, scalable pipelines.

We are looking for team members who routinely move beyond the “prompt” and who tackle projects with an engineering-first mindset. You understand that a simple, well-written Python script is often superior to a complex model, and you take pride in the "plumbing" that makes automation possible.

Our work is diverse and evolving. Recently we have been wishing to enhance our existing stack of automation tools using generative workflows, vector embeddings and personalization engines. To keep these systems reliable, we wish to prioritize observability through tools like Langfuse or similar. We run on an on-demand, serverless infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) that gives us the freedom to choose the right tool for the job—whether that’s a containerized GKE app, a complex dbt transformation, or a fine-tuned open-source model.

The core of this team is a blame-free environment. We drive our own projects, collaborate on the big picture, and act as mentors to one another.

THE TEAM

Our Data Intelligence team in Aarhus acts as the engine for business units across the company. You will work alongside other data scientists, data analysts, and engineers to build AI based applications or extensions for existing systems, orchestration pipelines that handle feature generation, model training, data aggregations and applying AI to large scale datasets. We stay close to the Copenhagen HQ for strategy and socializing, while we enjoy the opportunity for focus and “small-office-vibe” that our location offers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and orchestrate end-to-end pipelines using dbt and Airflow/Google Cloud Composer, moving data from BigQuery into production-ready services.

• Implement and deploy python based applications or APIs ensuring they are monitored, tested, and maintainable.

• Help support the data team by being an active part in code reviews and advocate for software engineering best practices.

• Utilize the latest AI tooling in your daily work to help you build applications faster whether is it for demonstrating new features in a POC or producing production ready tools.

• Take a large responsibility in the implementation and project management of YOUR project - with the help from your data science coworkers, team lead and other developers.

• Take an active part in growing the reach of Data Intelligence at Boozt by keeping an eye out for great use cases and pitching your ideas - we value proactive builders who see friction and want to fix it.
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Hands-on experience with writing production-grade Python.

• Production experience with at least one of classical ML, GenAI, or agentic systems — bonus for more.

• You are comfortable with software best practices - version control, code reviews and containerization are part of your natural workflow.

• You have experience with SQL (BigQuery) and an understanding of how to implement algorithms efficiently without wasting compute.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies – preferably within the Google Cloud Platform and an interest or experience within MLOps.

• Comfortable in the role of being the driving force in your own projects and reaching out to stakeholders and collaborators and communicating results.
