Job Description

Super Retail Group is the proud owner of four iconic brands: Supercheap Auto, rebel, BCF and Macpac, and is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest retailers. The talent of our teams and their passion for providing an experience which inspires and enhances our customers’ leisure time drives our culture of innovation and opportunity.

About the Role

Are you passionate about improving customer experiences through smarter content and knowledge design?

As our AI Knowledge Curator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how customers discover products, find answers and receive support across AI-powered channels.

In this newly created role, you'll capture, structure and govern critical brand and product knowledge, ensuring it is accurate, accessible and optimised for AI-driven experiences such as search, product Q&A, guided shopping and customer service agents. By creating trusted knowledge foundations, you'll help improve customer discovery, accelerate decision-making and enable faster, more effective service resolution—delivering seamless experiences that truly meet customer needs.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Capturing and structuring product, brand and customer knowledge into AI-ready content, including Q&As, attributes and knowledge assets.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge datasets that power AI search, discovery, support and conversational experiences.
  • Ensuring AI knowledge is accurate, governed and auditable through robust ownership, approval, quality and review processes.
  • Defining and upholding AI content quality standards, validating outputs and continuously improving performance through feedback and optimisation.
  • Partnering with Content Standards and Content Engineering teams to align knowledge with taxonomy, schema and structured data frameworks.
  • Using customer insights, search behaviour and AI performance data to identify knowledge gaps and prioritise content improvements.
  • Enabling and coaching brand and content teams with frameworks, templates and best practices for consistent AI knowledge management across the business.

This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine, preferred location) or Sydney (Rhodes), with a hybrid work model

About You

We are seeking a content professional with demonstrated experience in content strategy, knowledge management, digital content, SEO, customer experience, or related fields. Ideally, you have worked within ecommerce or product content environments and understand the importance of delivering high-quality, customer-centric content at scale.

You have strong structured content and information design skills, with experience developing and applying knowledge models, taxonomies, and content frameworks that improve content findability and usability. You are comfortable translating complex information into clear, accessible content that supports both customer and business needs.

A natural collaborator, you build strong relationships with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing outcomes through effective communication and partnership. You combine analytical thinking with a continuous improvement mindset, using performance insights and data-driven recommendations to optimise content quality, customer experience, and knowledge effectiveness.

While not essential, the following experience would be highly regarded:

  • Experience with AI tools, search platforms, or conversational interfaces
  • Experience with ecommerce product data, Product Information Management (PIM), taxonomy, schema, search, or product content operations
  • AI literacy, including Large Language Models (LLMs), search technologies, and conversational UX

WHY JOIN US?

  • You’ll get to join for an organisation with a culture that is driven by innovation and creating awesome experiences for our customers and teams, and will get to work alongside a diverse team across Super Retail Group that is representative of the communities we work in.
  • Super Retail Group is a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation holder.
  • We are committed to your professional development and will support on-going opportunities for both learning and progression.
  • You will get access to generous discounts across all Super Retail Group brands, as well as access to our Perks Programme, including discounts on Health and Wellbeing, Entertainment, Travel and Accommodation and more.
