We are looking for an experienced and innovative individual contributor to fill the position of A I Key Account Manager within our AI Center of Excellence group based in Houston, TX. This role is hybrid and reports to theAI Lead Key Account Manager.

This is a research-heavy, systems-oriented design role. You will spend time with users, map complex workflows,facilitateworkshops, synthesize findings, and help cross-functional teams move from ambiguous business problems to practical AI solutions that people can trust and use.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand and map complex end-to-end enterprise workflows (e.g., rig scheduling, reserves process, subsurface technical assurance reviews) toidentifywhere AI augmentation can deliver the most value.

  • Conduct user research, including ethnographic studies, interviews, and contextual inquiry, to understand how teams and individualsoperatewithin complex processes.

  • Create visual mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes of proposed AI solutions following discovery workshops, enabling stakeholders to align around a shared vision.

  • Design service blueprints and journey maps that illustrate current-state workflows and proposed future-state experiences with AI integration.

  • Facilitate andparticipatein cross-functional workshops alongside account managers, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define problems and co-create solutions.

  • Translate complex process findings into clear, compelling visual artifacts (diagrams, flows, storyboards) that drive faster stakeholder alignment and decision-making.

  • Support change management efforts by designing user-facing training materials, onboarding guides, and documentation for deployed AI solutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility andmaintaindesign quality through implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, or related discipline isrequired

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in UX design, service design, or UX research in an enterprise or industrial environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with service design, ethnographic research, prototyping, and process mapping methodologies.

  • Strong portfolioshowcasingend-to-end design thinking, from research and discovery through prototyping and validation, in complex enterprise contexts.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, including the ability tofacilitateworkshops with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiencywith UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., design software, whiteboarding platforms, process mapping tools – Miro, Mural, Figma, or similar).

  • Ability to synthesizelarge amountsof qualitative and quantitative information into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across disciplines (engineering, data science, business) in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the energy, oil and gas, or industrial enterprise sector is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and an understanding of how AI augments enterprise workflows.

  • Experience with process mining, workflow analysis, or operational excellence methodologies.

  • Experience designing for data-intensive or technical user audiences.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and user adoption strategies.
