Job Description

AutoStore's Operations and Service and Support teams are critical to our company's success - experienced, distributed, and constantlyoptimizing This role exists to find where AI can meaningfully move the needle on ordering, production, and workforce performance, pick the right tools to do it, and get them integrated fast. You'llwork across the organization at times for technical execution, but your credibility comes from operations fluency -you'rethe person who spots the problem, owns the solution, andis energized working alongside industry veterans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embedded in the Operations team toidentifyhigh-leverage AI opportunities across ordering, production, workforce management, and service delivery - prioritize ruthlessly and build a roadmap to guide future innovations

  • Own AI tool evaluation andselectionend-to-end: stay current on the tooling landscape, run fast pilots, and make confident calls on what gets deployed and what gets cut

  • Lead integration of AI tools into existing systems (ERP, Salesforce,TeamCentral, etc) - your job is connecting data sources and configuring the right off-the-shelf solutions, not building from scratch

  • Design and deploy agentic workflows that automate multi-step operational processes -you'vedone this before and know where it works and where it breaks

  • Identifyand mitigate risks before deployment - you think through failure modes, downstream impacts, and rollback plans before go-live, not after

  • Partner with experts across the organization, including the Product Business Unit and IT teams, to scope and ship builds that drive improvementsimpactingthe broader company

  • Measure and communicate impact rigorously - own the before/after on every deployment, not just the launch

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in operations - supply chain, production, inventory, or warehouse management - with enough depth to hold your own with senior ops veterans; strong working knowledge of operational fundamentals (inventory optimization, demand planning, production scheduling) is a hard requirement

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience evaluating, selecting, and deploying AI or automation tools in an operational context - not managing a team that did it, you did it

  • Background at an AI-native ops or supply chain software company (implementation, solutions engineering, or product) or an internal ops innovation role at a manufacturer, 3PL, or similar environment

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate tools into complex system environments (ERP, CRM, WFM) without extensive IThand-holding

  • Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks and workflow automation in production environments

  • Scrappy and fast-moving - you know when to pilot and when to commit, and youdon'tneed a three-year roadmap to get started

  • Strong communicator who can earn trust quickly with experienced operators and translate operational problems clearly for technical teams

We Offer:

  • A Collaborative and Inclusive Culture where we celebrate and value everyone’s contributions, encouraging diverse perspectives in decision-making.

  • Work-Life Balance & Well-being We offer 1 hour per week of paid exercise, health insurance, and a generous pension plan, prioritizing your mental and physical well-being.

  • A Creative and Safe Workplace by joining a company experiencing rapid growth, with the stability of being Norway’s first unicorn listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

  • International and Supportive Environment within a Norwegian multinational that values collaboration and innovation.
