Join Singtel’s Workforce Transformation team to help shape how AI transforms the future of work across the organisation.

You will support strategic initiatives that help business units prepare for AI-enabled ways of working and the future of work through workforce strategy, skills transformation, role redesign, operating model evolution, and workforce planning.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, workforce transformation, and AI innovation. You will collaborate with senior leaders across the business, HR, and technology functions to help redesign jobs, operating models, and skills for the AI era, contributing directly to the future workforce strategy of one of Singapore’s leading technology companies.

Make an impact by:

1. Support AI Workforce Transformation Strategy

  • Support the development of Singtel’s AI workforce transformation roadmap and strategic priorities.
  • Conduct research on AI workforce trends, future skills, organisation design, and emerging operating models.
  • Analyse how AI may reshape jobs, skills, and workforce requirements across different business functions.
  • Develop insights and recommendations that inform workforce transformation priorities and leadership discussions.

2. Support Workforce Planning and Transformation Design

  • Assist in designing future-state roles, capabilities, and workforce models for AI-enabled teams.
  • Support operating model design work, including organisation structures, governance approaches, and decision-making models.
  • Consolidate business unit inputs into structured outputs such as role frameworks, capability maps, and transformation plans.
  • Help translate broad AI transformation ambitions into practical workforce strategies and implementation priorities.

3. Support Strategic Projects and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Gather and synthesise inputs from business units on workforce needs, role changes and AI adoption opportunities.
  • Support workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Prepare concise insights, executive-ready summaries, and recommendations for stakeholder discussions.

4. Support Executive Reporting and Programme Delivery

  • Prepare executive updates, leadership presentations, and project reports.
  • Track progress, key decisions, and action items across transformation workstreams.
  • Support strategic discussions by translating findings into clear, data-driven insights.
  • Document workforce transformation uses cases, lessons learnt and best practices for scaling across Singtel.

What Success Looks Like — By End of Internship

  • Contributed to key components of Singtel’s AI workforce transformation strategy and roadmap.
  • Delivered meaningful analysis and recommendations related to workforce planning, skills transformation, or AI adoption.
  • Supported materials presented to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Contributed to workforce transformation strategies, role frameworks, or future operating models for one or more business units.

Skills for success:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, Human Resources Consulting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in AI, workforce transformation, strategy, and the future of work.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
  • Excellent writing, synthesis, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and complex business problems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, intellectually curious, and eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT is a strong advantage.
  • Prior exposure to consulting, strategy, workforce transformation, or project-based work is a plus.
