AI-Experienced Full Stack Developer

About the Opportunity
Evantis Talent Solutions is recruiting an AI-experienced Full Stack Developer for a leading multinational financial services organisation.
You will join a commercial pricing programme building one high-performance service that brings complex insurance policy calculations together behind a common API. You will build event-driven microservices, secure APIs and modern front ends, using AI coding tools to deliver faster and to a higher standard.
Tech stack: Java 25, Kotlin 2.3, Spring Boot 4, Spring Security, PostgreSQL, Spring Data JDBC, Flyway, Kafka, Maven, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular 17, NgRx, Node.js, Fastify. You don't need every technology; solid hands-on experience with several and the ability to learn the rest is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Build RESTful and Kafka-based event-driven microservices in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Design and secure APIs; orchestrate distributed tasks and parameter versioning for high-volume calculations
- Build front-end features in Angular 17/NgRx and contribute to Node.js/Fastify services
- Ensure code quality and scalability; automate testing and CI/CD
- Optimise PostgreSQL performance
- Work in Agile, cross-functional teams and join technical design reviews
- Run services on Azure with Docker and Kubernetes
- Actively use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Around 5 years as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong Java/Kotlin and Spring (Boot, Data, Security) with Kafka microservices
- Advanced SQL/PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning
- Cloud-native delivery on Azure with Kubernetes, CI/CD and Maven
- Angular 17 with NgRx, plus Node.js/Fastify or BFF experience
- Solid fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, JUnit testing, Agile/SAFe
- Required: hands-on use of AI coding assistants, with concrete examples on the CV
