P&C Digital & Technology RE is looking for an experienced AI Engineering Lead to shape, scale, and deliver high-impact AI products across the organization. This is a senior, hands-on lead role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to lead teams, set engineering direction, and partner closely with product and functional stakeholders.
We create global, AI-driven products that address some of the most complex risk challenges in the world. While this role is a people and technical leadership position, it requires a strong engineering mindset: you are expected to deeply understand the systems your teams build and to engage directly with architecture, design, and code when needed.

As an AI Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for the technical excellence, technical delivery quality, and professional growth of AI engineers working on production-grade AI systems. You will work closely with AI Product Leads and business partners to translate strategic objectives into robust, scalable solutions.

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF 128,000 and CHF 192,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
· the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
· the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
