About the team and role

We are looking for an AI Engineering Architect to join the Delivery Excellence team and drive AI adoption across Product Development. In this role, you will combine strategy, governance, enablement, and hands-on experimentation to help SEB establish AI-enabled ways of working across software engineering, testing, DevOps, and delivery teams. You will define how AI is used in practice, create the governance and guardrails required for scalable adoption, identify high-value engineering use cases, and work directly with teams to validate and implement solutions. Rather than focusing on a single product or platform, your mission will be to transform software delivery across the organization, ensuring that AI becomes an integrated part of everyday engineering work and delivers measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and developer experience. This is a hands-on role. We expect you to prototype solutions, experiment with emerging AI capabilities, and validate concepts through implementation before scaling them across teams.

Your key responsibilities include:

Create and own the AI roadmap for Product Development & Technology

Define and establish AI governance, guardrails, standards, and operating models

Develop and continuously evolve AI-enabled ways of working for software delivery teams

Drive adoption of GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot and future AI capabilities across engineering organizations

Build communities of practice and promote AI literacy across Product Development

Identify, prioritize, and scale engineering productivity use cases that deliver measurable business value

Define best practices for AI-assisted software development, testing, architecture, documentation, knowledge sharing, and operations

Lead AI-powered transformation of DevOps, testing, and CI/CD processes

Design and build prototypes, automations, agents, and lightweight AI-powered solutions to solve practical engineering challenges

Establish adoption metrics and success measurements to ensure sustainable AI adoption and business impact

Collaborate with architects, engineering leaders, delivery teams, and management to embed AI into the software delivery lifecycle

What we expect:

Solid understanding of modern software engineering, DevOps, and software delivery practices

Practical experience with AI technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, LLMs, AI agents, or related technologies

Experience driving technology adoption, engineering transformation, or new ways of working across multiple teams

Ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical engineering solutions

Hands-on mindset and willingness to prototype, experiment, and validate concepts through implementation

Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, testing, and developer productivity practices

Experience defining standards, governance, or engineering operating models

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to balance innovation, governance, and business value

Experience working in complex or regulated environments is considered an advantage

Fluency in Englishv as you will be working on solutions, developing products and services in the Baltics, and collaborating with Baltic teams.
