Fuller Focus is a B2B data intelligence platform that helps companies selling to the nonprofit sector identify, prioritize, and close the right prospects. We surface insights from IRS Form 990 data — covering 1.8M+ nonprofits and 738M+ rows of financial data — to power lookalike modelling, competitor intelligence, financial trajectory signals, and CRM enrichment.
We’re a small, fast-moving team backed by Foundry for Good. We’ve recently signed our first enterprise clients and are scaling our sales pipeline. This role is our first dedicated hire outside of engineering, and you’ll work directly with the founder every day.
We’re looking for an AI Engineer Intern to build AI agents that replace manual research work. This is not a “learn and watch” internship. You’ll be shipping real systems used in production.
Examples of what you might build:
AI agents that email organizations and parse responses
Voice agents that call organizations to collect missing data
Automated workflows that replace human research tasks
Systems that collect proprietary data at scale
By ~week 2-4: You’ve built an AI agent that replaces a human researcher and collects production-level data at scale.
We are looking for a builder who is ready to move beyond the classroom. You’ll thrive in this role if:
You have a bias for action: You’ve built original AI projects, agents, or tools (not just coursework) and have a GitHub or portfolio to show for it.
You’re technically curious: You’re comfortable working with APIs (e.g., LLMs like Anthropic/OpenAI) and enjoy experimenting with new tech.
You’re self-directed: You take initiative and can figure things out without needing a step-by-step manual.
You ship fast: You enjoy experimenting and moving quickly in a high-autonomy startup environment.
You’ve built and shipped AI agents or side projects end-to-end
You’ve worked with messy, real-world data or web scraping.
You have a startup/hacker mindset and a genuine passion for the future of AI.
