As an AI Engineer (Healthcare Systems), you will design, build, deploy, and optimize AI-powered workflows and automation systems across the organization.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that combines AI implementation, workflow automation, systems integration, and operational problem-solving. You will work closely with leadership to identify inefficiencies, prioritize automation opportunities, connect existing software platforms, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and visibility across the business.
The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, technically capable, and comfortable owning projects from initial problem identification through implementation and optimization.

Design and deploy AI-powered agents for internal operations and potential customer-facing use cases.
Build AI workflows using platforms and APIs such as OpenAI and Claude.
Develop and optimize prompt logic based on specific business requirements.
Monitor agent performance and continuously refine workflows to improve reliability and effectiveness.
Identify practical opportunities to incorporate AI into existing business processes.
Analyze workflows across departments to identify repetitive or inefficient processes that can be automated.
Build scalable automations using platforms such as Make, Zapier, or n8n.
Connect CRM, scheduling, reporting, and other operational systems into integrated workflows.
Use APIs and webhooks to enable reliable data exchange between platforms.
Troubleshoot integration and automation issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Continuously optimize existing automations as business requirements evolve.
Develop automated reporting systems and dashboards for key business metrics.
Build workflows that consolidate data from multiple platforms and locations.
Ensure data is accurately and consistently synchronized across connected systems.
Improve visibility into performance across locations, services, teams, and other relevant areas of the business.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting through automation.
Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact AI and automation initiatives.
Develop and execute a 6–12 month roadmap for AI and automation implementation.
Translate operational challenges into practical technical solutions.
Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies for potential business applications.
Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions.
Continuously improve existing systems based on performance and evolving business needs.
3–6+ years of experience in automation, systems integration, technical operations, or related roles.
Proven experience building and deploying workflows using Make, Zapier, n8n, or similar automation platforms.
Hands-on experience implementing AI tools and APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or comparable technologies.
Experience integrating multiple software platforms and operational systems.
Experience independently owning technical or automation projects from concept through deployment.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and systems integration and can use them to create reliable connections between business platforms.
Has hands-on experience with Make, Zapier, n8n, or similar workflow automation platforms and can build scalable automations that reduce manual work.
Is comfortable working with OpenAI, Claude, or similar AI tools and APIs to develop practical AI agents, prompt logic, and automated workflows.
Has experience connecting CRM platforms, scheduling systems, reporting tools, and other operational software into integrated workflows.
Can work with data and reporting systems to automate information flow, maintain data consistency, and improve visibility into business performance.
Is familiar with tools such as Airtable, Notion, or similar platforms for organizing operational data and workflows.
Can troubleshoot automation failures, integration issues, and inconsistent data flows to identify root causes and implement reliable solutions.
Has basic JavaScript or Python scripting knowledge as a plus for situations where additional customization is required beyond no-code or low-code platforms.
Systems-oriented with a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and design practical solutions.
Highly autonomous and comfortable owning projects end-to-end.
Detail-oriented with a focus on building reliable and scalable systems.
Proactive about identifying automation opportunities rather than waiting for specific instructions.
