& Summary

The Digital& - Application Development team at PwC Poland consists almost 300 people.
We are responsible for IT projects for both Polish and international clients. We carry out a wide range of tasks—from designing, building, and implementing solutions, through developing functional specifications, analyzing data in source systems, to defining business requirements, supporting testing, and creating mobile applications.
Within the department, we provide IT consulting services, mainly for financial sector institutions in Poland and abroad.

We are currently looking for candidates for the position of:
AI Engineer

Your future role:

• Designing and implementing modern applications,
• Actively participating in the process of creating high-performance solution architecture,
• Creating project documentation,
• Participating in software deployments and collaborating with users to resolve ongoing issues.

Apply if you have:

• Advanced Python programming and SDLC experience.
• Familiar with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong foundation in statistics, linear algebra, and calculus.
• Skilled in ETL, data pipelines, modeling, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in ML libraries: scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
• Experienced in NLP/NLU: text processing, embeddings, NER, semantic analysis.
• Hands-on with neural networks for NLP, computer vision, etc.
• Deep understanding of LLMs: transformers, embeddings, tokenization, and API integrations.
• Proficient in prompt engineering and orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Crew AI).
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus) in Gen AI solutions.
• Strong Python software engineering skills with coding standards and best practices.
• Experience in code reviews, debugging, testing, and version control.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience containerizing AI solutions and deploying across enterprise environments.
• Skilled in integrating logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.

Nice to have:

• Strong problem-solving using systems thinking and first principles.
• Capable of designing scalable, resilient, and secure end-to-end systems.
• Expertise in API design, event-driven architectures, microservices, serverless, and containers.
• Familiar with enterprise integration patterns (messaging, pub/sub, event sourcing).
• Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and network security (VPCs, firewalls).
