Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Myers, FL 33916Job Category: AdministrativeJuniper is Growing! We are seeking An AI Engineer for our IT team. The AI Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that support business operations, automation, and data-driven decision making across the organization. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical AI applications and supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models that support operational improvements and business automation initiatives.
Assist in building and maintaining machine learning pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
Work with structured and unstructured datasets to prepare data, train models, and evaluate model performance.
Support the optimization of algorithms and models through experimentation, validation, and tuning to improve performance and reliability.
Apply machine learning techniques such as predictive modeling, natural language processing, and other AI approaches to solve business problems.
Deploy and integrate AI models into applications, APIs, and operational systems within the company’s technology environment.
Monitor model performance and assist in maintaining lifecycle management processes to ensure models remain accurate and reliable.
Ensure AI solutions follow organizational technology standards, security practices, and governance requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and support the development of scalable AI solutions.
Document development processes, models, and technical solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Stay current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and development practices to support continuous improvement of AI capabilities.
Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and safety hazards and/or incidents.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field required.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing software solutions or data-driven applications, including experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics technologies.
Demonstrated experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning models in development or production environments.
Demonstrated proficiency with programming languages and AI frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and related technologies.
Demonstrated ability to work with datasets, build machine learning models, and support the development of machine learning pipelines from data preparation through model deployment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze datasets and translate technical findings into actionable insights that support operational decision making.
Experience working with cloud computing environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud to support model development, deployment, or scalability preferred.
