Position based in Charlotte, NC, some teleworking may be permitted. Travel to Lowe’s offices may be required.

Develops and maintains AI platform, ensuring the platform meets functional requirements and performance criteria. Participates in the lifecycle of AI platform development, including ideation, prototyping, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Contributes to the design of scalable and robust infrastructure needed to support AI models in collaboration with infrastructure teams. Assists in the integration of AI capabilities into various products and platforms, ensuring smooth transitions and functionality. Contributes to peer code reviews, learning from senior AI engineers, and adheres to best practices in AI development. Keeps relevant with the latest technologies and frameworks in AI, suggesting improvements and updates to existing systems. Supports the implementation of security and compliance measures within the AI development process, aligning with company policies and industry regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job requires a Bachelor’s degree* in Science, Technology, Engineering, related field and 2 years of experience in any job title/occupation involving executing and deploying data science, Machine Learning, deep learning or a related field. *Employer will accept single degree or combination of degrees, diplomas and/or professional experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

Must have prior experience in:

• 2 years of experience in:
o MLOps, DevOps, model versioning and CICD tools like Stash, Git, and Jenkins;
o NoSQL experience like Redis or Mongo;
o Relational database technologies - Oracle SQL and Postgres;
o TensorFlow Extended, and MLFlow;
o Fast API, Springboot, H20, Django and Helm Charts;
o Kubernetes, Docker and Kubeflow;
o Kafka and MQ;
o Streamlit and Jupyter Voila; and
o GCP, VSphere and AWS.
