AI Enablement Analyst - 260332: KNW-B40
As a key member of the Applied AI and Enablement Team, the AI Enablement Analyst acts as the primary point of contact for AI initiatives across different IEEE Organizational Units (OUs). Reporting to the Applied AI Director, this role empowers OUs to identify, evaluate, and operationalize AI solutions and workflows that enhance productivity. The Analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements, assessing the feasibility and risk of AI solutions, and supporting the rollout and adoption of approved solutions through hands-on training sessions and educational activities. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, well-versed in the current AI landscape, and can distill complex concepts into engaging training materials for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties include but not limited to:Partner with OU leadership and OU business units to identify workflows and pain points where AI tools could improve efficiency or quality.Evaluate candidate AI tools against defined criteria (functionality, data handling, integration fit, cost, security) on behalf of the OU and document findings for stakeholder review.Support pilots of new AI tools or use cases within the OU, including defining success metrics, coordinating test groups, and reporting results.Track and report on AI adoption metrics (usage, efficiency gains, user satisfaction) across the OU, building dashboards, where useful.Maintain an inventory of AI tools, use cases, and AI compliance status relevant to the OU.Work with respective teams to ensure new AI use cases proposed by the OU follow Responsible AI principles, data privacy guidelines, and procurement requirements, and communicate AI Governance changes back to the OU.Develop and manage a centralized repository of clear, tailored training materials, encompassing quick-reference guides, video tutorials, approved use-case examples, and prompt libraries.Support the AI Center of Excellence by hosting virtual office hours, interactive Q&A sessions, peer show-and-tells, and user communities to help staff troubleshoot tools and adopt responsible AI practices.
EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, technology implementation, or a similar field.Skills and Requirements
Strong practical knowledge of the modern AI tools (Gemini, Claude, Copilot), practical understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and risks in a professional setting, prior experience in systematically evaluating AI outputs against human baselines.Proven ability to analyze business processes and evaluate where AI solutions will drive genuine ROI compared to standard workflow automation.Solid understanding of enterprise data privacy and Responsible AI principles.Strong analytical skills, including comfort gathering requirements, comparing options against criteria, and presenting recommendations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently advocate for the organizational unit while translating technical AI concepts into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.Experience driving technology adoption, including process documentation, workflow mapping, designing user training, and tracking post-launch usage metrics.Experience creating structured learning content (curricula, guides, e-learning modules).Hands-on experience helping an organization implement AI governance frameworks.Familiarity with data visualization or dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Background in project management or IT project coordination.Prior experience supporting technology adoption within a nonprofit, association, or technical/engineering organization.Physical/Mental Demands
Office positions at IEEE are generally performed within an office environment whose duties are primarily performed behind a desk at an IEEE location. Employees in these positions frequently operate a computer, read and write, and interact with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices. They move about within the facility in which their office is located to access file cabinets, documents, office machinery, and other equipment. They also travel within the facility in which their office is located and to locations outside of the facility, to attend meetings, trainings, events, and other business activities.
