The role:

  • Develop high‑quality software code and participate in peer reviews through pull requests
  • Apply secure coding principles and responsible AI practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Analyze logs, metrics, traces, and system behavior to identify patterns, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to technical documentation, internal knowledge bases, and engineering guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, testers, and architects in a cross‑functional team environment
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and technical retrospectives
  • Proactively learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and engineering best practices
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts, trade‑offs, and results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Qualifications

Requirements: 

We are looking for a student who demonstrates an open and proactive attitude, with a strong ability to take initiative. You can effectively prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high level of organization.

Additionally, you bring the following:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (Dutch is not required)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Working knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Python
  • Good understanding of AI-related concepts (e.g. AI agents, MCP, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM APIs, or prompt engineering)
  • Exposure to modern software engineering practices, including:
    • Version control systems (e.g. Git)
    • Debugging, testing, and code reviews
  • EU nationality, or enrollment as a student at a Dutch university
  • Availability for a 6-month internship
  • Based in the Netherlands, preferably within reasonable travel distance of Eindhoven
