Job Description

As AI & Digital Optimization Manager, you will shape how artificial intelligence drives commercial impact at Miele Professional. You will operate at the intersection of e-commerce, marketing, and data, translating AI from a buzzword into a practical and scalable growth driver.

Your mission is to identify, test, and scale AI use cases that deliver measurable business results. This includes driving lead generation and sales uplift, improving conversion rates, reducing costs, and increasing team productivity. At the same time, you will develop solutions that enhance the customer experience across all digital touchpoints.

You will work in an entrepreneurial setup within Miele X, with the autonomy to experiment, demonstrate value, and scale successful initiatives. In close collaboration with E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing, Data, and IT, you will embed AI into daily operations, from campaign execution and content creation to reporting and conversion rate optimization.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY JOB

  • Develop and drive the AI strategy and roadmap across marketing and e-commerce, aligned with commercial KPIs such as lead generation and sales growth.
  • Identify and prioritize AI use cases, both high-impact opportunities and quick productivity gains, based on business impact, feasibility and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Leverage AI to improve CRO and UX/UI, e.g., through personalization, accelerated A/B testing, and user behavior analysis.
  • Design and run rapid AI pilots, initially using existing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) and exploring additional solutions where relevant, validating impact based on clear performance metrics such as conversion uplift, cost reduction, and time savings.
  • Translate successful pilots into scalable, production-ready solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of AI within the team by developing playbooks, workflows, and use cases, and by upskilling colleagues on AI tools and applications.
  • In close collaboration with Domestic, establish governance frameworks and business standards, ensuring compliance and ethical AI practices.
  • Act as an internal ambassador for AI by sharing relevant developments, showcasing results and promoting best practices.

  • AI is embedded in core workflows across e-commerce and digital marketing
  • 5+ AI use cases successfully scaled into production
  • Measurable impact delivered (e.g., qualified leads uplift, cost reduction, time savings)
  • Tangible efficiency gains across content, reporting, and campaign execution
  • Team demonstrates strong AI adoption and self-sufficiency

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in digital, e-commerce, analytics, or innovation roles, with exposure to AI or automation
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, automation tools, analytics platforms) and a strong interest in emerging technologies
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate business impact, define KPIs, and measure success of AI initiatives
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into practical, scalable solutions
  • Understanding of workflows, automation, and process optimization
  • Strong relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence and enable cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and resilient, with a strong test-and-learn approach and a focus on delivering measurable results
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), and fluency in another European language is an advantage
