As an AI Developer - Senior Associate you will develop innovative software solutions that support client needs, combining coding, testing, and problem-solving across the software engineering lifecycle within our Sustainability practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, build meaningful client connections, and manage assigned workstreams while developing your judgment, technical skills, and ability to guide junior team members. In this role at PwC, you will design and code applications, interpret feedback, and use a range of methods and tools to shape solutions that align with broader project goals and changing business context.

Responsibilities

• Developing AI-enabled software solutions using Python, programming languages, and application software across client delivery workstreams
• Designing, coding, and testing applications with attention to system development, data flow, and user experience
• Applying AI fluency and AI-human collaboration methods to shape practical solutions for business and technical needs
• Translating complex requirements into clear technical designs that support sustainability-focused software initiatives
• Building and refining React Native components and other application features to support mobile and cross-platform delivery
• Reviewing code, debugging issues, and improving application performance through structured problem solving
• Interpreting data and technical feedback to inform recommendations, prioritization, and future development decisions
• Supporting client relationships by anticipating needs, communicating progress, and contributing to dependable delivery
• Mentoring junior team members on programming practices, development standards, and technical problem solving

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Certifications on Cloud Architecture (GCP/Azure/AWS)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud-native patterns
• Experience embedding AI-driven UIs in Angular/React
• Knowledge of observability and telemetry for AI applications
• 6 years of experience in software development
• 1 year of experience leading developers
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript frameworks
• Understanding of LLMs and vector databases
• Experience with data/ML frameworks and tools
• Navigating ambiguity while building client relationships and mentoring junior teammates
