Job Description

Summary

We are looking for an AI Deployment Strategist who would owe the success of AI deployment within an assigned business perimeter of Proximus Global, acting as the business-side counterpart to the technical teams and vendors delivering the solution. Embedded with the business, the AI Deployment Strategist identifies where AI creates real value in existing workflows, shapes and qualifies use cases through the AI prioritization framework and drives their delivery along the gated path from MVP to production – through to adoption and measurable business impact.

By conducting structured discovery and process analysis, translating findings into well-scoped use cases, coordinating delivery contributors (internal teams and external providers), and actively driving adoption and quality after go-live, the jobholder ensures that AI initiatives in their perimeter do not stall at the prototype stage but reach production and deliver the value expected – avoiding standalone POCs and effort spent on low-value opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Process Analysis: Immerse in the workflows of the assigned perimeter. Conduct structured discovery with process owners and end users (process mapping, pain point identification, volume and effort assessment) to identify where AI and automation create genuine business value. Frame bounded, testable business problems rather than broad ambitions.
  • Use Case Intake & Shaping: Set up and run the intake process for AI use case ideas and demands within the perimeter – whether originating from business stakeholders, discovery work, or the central AI programme. Qualify incoming requests and translate them into well-scoped use case candidates: process, users, owner, baseline performance, expected outcome, data requirements, and risks.
  • Prioritization: Evaluate qualified use cases through the AI prioritization framework (expected impact, technical difficulty, business risk, ethical and data privacy considerations). Facilitate scoring sessions with business and technical stakeholders, maintain a transparent, up-to-date use case backlog for the perimeter, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the framework itself.
  • Deployment Leadership: Drive prioritized use cases along the gated path from MVP to production. Coordinate delivery contributors – internal technical teams, external vendors, business SMEs – ensure gating criteria are met at each go/no-go decision, unblock issues, and keep momentum from kickoff through go-live.
  • Adoption & Enablement: Own adoption of deployed solutions within the perimeter. Prepare and support end users, work with change management on communication and training, monitor usage, run quality reviews, and iterate on solutions until they are embedded in daily operations.
  • Value & Feedback Loop: Track outcomes of deployed use cases in collaboration with the Value Office (adoption, performance, and benefit KPIs). Feed lessons learned back into the prioritization framework and identify the next high-value use cases within the perimeter, turning individual deployments into a scaled capability.
  • Governance & Responsible AI: Ensure use cases in the perimeter respect Proximus Global's AI governance: liaise with security, legal, and data privacy stakeholders, ensure guardrails, testing, and human review are in place, and translate technical controls into business terms for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years in business analysis, (strategy) consulting, program/product management, or transformation roles, ideally with exposure to AI or automation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to analyse and document business processes and workflows (process mapping, BPM, Lean or similar methods).
  • Good understanding of AI and automation capabilities (LLMs, agentic AI, workflow automation) and their practical applicability – and limitations – in business processes.
  • Experience driving delivery across the full cycle: discovery, scoping, implementation coordination, go-live, and adoption.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences, including workshop design and executive communication.
  • Basic integration literacy: understands APIs, enterprise data (CRM/ERP), and the operational constraints of enterprise software – enough to have credible conversations with technical teams and vendors.
  • Comfortable using data to substantiate findings, define success criteria, and evaluate solution quality.
  • Structured, autonomous way of working; able to manage ambiguity and multiple parallel initiatives.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language.

We are offering

  • Good compensation package - Competitive € salary plus attractive benefits
  • Development opportunities
  • Challenging but also very friendly working environment
  • And much, much more...
