SWBC is seeking talented students to join our College Intern Program in San Antonio, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for college students who are motivated and eager to learn within their educational field of study.

As an AI Data Engineering Intern, you will contribute directly to AI/ML data pipelines powering analytics and next-generation solutions. This internship is hands-on, aligned to your academic and career interests, and supported by mentoring.

Essential duties include the following:

• Build, test, and optimize ELT pipelines for Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain dbt models (staging, marts, documentation, testing).
• Prepare high-quality, governed datasets for AWS SageMaker.
• Support feature stores, embedding datasets, and model-ready partitions.
• Implement data quality checks using dbt tests and metadata validation.
• Assist in orchestrating end-to-end pipelines for model training and inference.
• Document lineage, transformations, and dependencies for compliance.
• Collaborate on RPA-enabled automation opportunities within data workflows.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (undergraduate or graduate welcome).
• Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Familiarity with Python (Pandas/PySpark), SQL, Git.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, AWS SageMaker.
• Understanding ML workflows.
• AWS cloud experience.
• Interest in or exposure to RPA tools.
