You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to build and optimize the data pipelines that power our machine learning models, gaining hands-on experience with large-scale, diverse datasets unique to the construction industry while shaping the bar of excellence for our future growth in Mexico.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Design and maintain foundational ETL/ELT pipelines to support the development of next-generation AI/ML models.
Clean, transform, and aggregate large-scale datasets to ensure they are optimized for advanced machine learning applications.
Perform routine data quality checks and develop automated tests to ensure data integrity and reliability across the platform.
Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to translate complex data requirements into accessible, analysis-ready datasets.
Support the management of modern data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes, within a cloud environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
Foundational knowledge of database concepts and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Proficiency in programming with Python for scripting and data processing tasks.
Conceptual understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on learning and growth.
Bonus Points For
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and core data services like S3 or BigQuery.
Basic experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
Exposure to version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with the construction industry's data landscape.
