General Eligibility

Applicants generally must:

Be 18+

Have a high school diploma, GED, CAEC or equivalent

Have CLB 7–8 English for non-native English speakers

Be eligible to work full-time in Canada with a valid SIN

Be unemployed, underemployed, or facing financial barriers

Meet the applicable income and other program requirements

There is no cost to apply or participate.

Please note: Program availability and eligibility vary by location, and spaces are limited. Quebec residents are currently not eligible for these programs.

AI & Data Analytics

Best for: Candidates with previous IT, programming, data or analytics experience.

Technical requirements:

Practical experience or professional knowledge in R or Python, or Java, C# or C++

Experience with Excel and statistical concepts

Working knowledge or demonstrated interest in SQL

Understanding of machine learning through education or practical experience

Experience completing data-related or programming projects independently

The program covers Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, AI prompting, data visualization and data pipelines and includes industry-recognized certifications.

Program details:

Duration: 15 weeks

Format: Hybrid (Ontario and Nova Scotia)

Next Ontario start: November 30, 2026

End date: March 26, 2027

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST

Certifications: Google AI Prompting Essentials + IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate + specialization-aligned certification.
