DATA ANALYST - POWER BI SPECIALIST

The Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) at Convergence Networks is looking for a Power BI Specialist to transform data into clear, actionable insights for our clients. In this role, you’ll design data models, build intuitive dashboards, and help clients adopt modern, data‑driven practices.

WHAT DOES OUR DATA ANALYST - POWER BI SPECIALIST DO?

  • Conduct exploratory analysis and present insights to non‑technical audiences
  • Partner with client stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver impactful reporting solutions
  • Build data models, data connections, data queries, DAX measures, and high‑quality Power BI dashboards
  • Prepare datasets and semantic models for Copilot and Microsoft AI experiences
  • Deliver training, documentation, and self‑service BI best practices

WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED SKILLS?

  • Experience delivering end‑to‑end solutions via Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
  • Ability to coach clients through defining business needs, then designing and building related solutions
  • Strong SQL, ETL, query building, and data modeling skills
  • Clear communication, data storytelling, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to evolving requirement

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS I NEED TO HAVE?

  • Currently hold or ability to get certification - PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Power Automate experience
  • Experience deploying AI/Copilot readiness, metadata, and semantic modeling
  • Azure AI Platform experience

WHAT IS THE WORK ENVIRONMENT LIKE?

  • Normal office working conditions. Work requires regular sitting/standing at a desk, working with a computer. This position requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands, seeing, reaching, talking, writing, and hearing; it may require occasionally carrying or lifting equipment if working on-site.
  • Position requires contact with others - in meetings, by phone or by email. Interactions focus on data collection, problem solving, needs analysis and technical work. Interactions are initiated in person or electronically. Position may require some trave to customer sites
