AI Consumer Insights & Proposition Excellence Leader

The leader will be shaping how AI and human understanding come together to drive the future of consumer centric innovation across Philips Personal Health.

As the categories within Personal Health, Oral Health Care, Grooming & Beauty as well as Mother & Childcare and Women’s Health, continue to evolve rapidly, driven by digitization and artificial intelligence, we are looking for a Global AI Consumer Insights & Proposition Excellence Leader to help leapfrog the business into its next phase of growth.

Your challenge:

Philips is redefining how consumer insight fuels innovation by combining deep human understanding with AI-powered intelligence. As Global AI Consumer Insights & Proposition Excellence Leader, you will shape the future of proposition innovation and decision-making across Personal Health. By defining and scaling best-in-class proposition testing frameworks, continuous learning systems, and AI-enabled insight platforms and capabilities, you will enable faster, smarter, and more predictive innovation decisions. Working closely with Businesses and Regions, you will identify growth opportunities, shape winning propositions, strengthen portfolio performance, and build competitive advantage across Philips Personal Health. The role influences innovation, portfolio, and growth decisions across multiple businesses, regions, and categories globally.

Your Role:

1. Lead AI Consumer Insights Strategy & Transformation

Define and execute Philips' vision and roadmap for AI-enabled consumer insights, ideation and optimization, integrating deep consumer understanding with predictive decision-making. Lead the transformation of Consumer Insights through AI-powered insight generation, synthetic consumers, GenAI-enabled learning systems, and scalable AI capabilities that improve speed, quality, efficiency, and business impact.

2. Drive Proposition Excellence

Define and continuously evolve superior proposition development frameworks, testing protocols, qualification standards, and AI- and Agile-enabled learning systems that enable faster, more predictive, and consumer-centric innovation decisions.

3. Build AI enabled Consumer Insights & Growth platform

Design and scale the always-on consumer insights AI platform that combines consumer research, behavioral data, Ratings & Reviews, social intelligence, and AI-enabled methodologies for insight generation, ideation and optimization. Translate these insights into growth opportunities, differentiated propositions, and portfolio strategies that drive sustainable category growth.

4. Drive Consumer-Led Growth & Proposition Innovation

Partner with Business Leadership Teams, Regions, and Innovation to embed consumer insights into portfolio, marketing, and innovation decisions, identifying future growth spaces and strengthening Philips' competitive advantage.

5. Build Organizational Capability & Thought Leadership

Act as Philips' thought leader for AI-enabled consumer insights and proposition excellence, driving capability development, best practices, and adoption across Personal Health while raising the maturity of consumer-centric innovation.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in client-side Consumer Insights, Innovation, Strategy, Growth, Analytics or adjacent disciplines, including significant experience leading global insight and innovation agendas, preferably in consumer-facing industries
  • Proven expertise in upstream innovation, proposition development, concept testing, and consumer-centric innovation processes
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI-enabled insights methodologies, platforms, or advanced analytics solutions
  • Experience influencing senior marketing, innovation, and business leaders across complex global organizations
  • Strong track record of building scalable frameworks, capabilities, and ways of working
  • Required AI-enabled consumer insights Experience in:
    • applying GenAI and synthetic consumer methodologies
    • building AI-enabled insight ecosystems and decision-support tools
    • leveraging first-party, behavioral, social, and unstructured data
    • partnering with Data Science, Digital, and Technology teams

Compensation & Benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is Min EUR 93,049.00 – Max EUR 155,081.00

We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you’ll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

This role is eligible for a bonus of 6%, with your rewards linked to KPIs and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. This position is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
