Job Role

The AI Computer Vision Engineer will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions involving image recognition, image classification, computer vision, generative AI, and multimodal machine learning technologies. This role combines research, solution architecture, algorithm development, and client engagement to solve complex real-world business problems using cutting-edge AI technologies.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and enterprise clients, the successful candidate will contribute to AI research, build innovative computer vision models, develop production-ready solutions, and support AI adoption across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and optimize AI models for image recognition, object detection, image classification, prediction, and computer vision applications.
• 
  Conduct research and development in Generative AI and Multimodal AI technologies, including image-to-text, text-to-image, text-to-video, and other advanced AI applications.
• 
  Develop innovative AI algorithms by combining the latest research with practical business requirements.
• 
  Translate client requirements into technical solutions, project proposals, implementation plans, and AI solution architectures.
• 
  Collaborate with clients to understand technical challenges and provide AI-driven business solutions.
• 
  Build and optimize AI pipelines using cloud computing platforms, GPUs, and modern machine learning frameworks.
• 
  Conduct experiments, validate AI models, and improve model performance for real-world deployment.
• 
  Contribute to technical publications, research papers, and international AI conferences where applicable.
• 
  Work collaboratively with multicultural engineering, research, and business teams across global projects.

Candidate Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM disciplines.
• 
  Strong experience developing AI, Computer Vision, or Deep Learning solutions in commercial or research environments.
• 
  Solid programming skills in Python (preferred), with additional experience in C/C++, Java, or similar languages.
• 
  Hands-on experience with Computer Vision, Image Processing, Deep Learning, and AI model development.
• 
  Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• 
  Familiarity with Generative AI, Multimodal AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or foundation models is highly desirable.
• 
  Experience working with GPU-based AI training and deployment environments.
• 
  Experience publishing or contributing to research papers in AI, Computer Vision, or related fields is highly valued.
• 
  Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative AI algorithms.
• 
  Professional communication skills in English are required. Japanese language proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
• 
  Comfortable working in multicultural and international project environments.
