Synechron is seeking an experienced AI Business Analyst with over 6 years of relevant experience to support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for AI-driven solutions, particularly those involving Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs). The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of AI solutions that meet strategic goals, deliver measurable ROI, and align with organizational standards. This role will contribute to advancing Synechron’s innovative AI capabilities and enhancing operational efficiency.
Software Requirements
Required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Jira, Confluence, Visio, requirements management tools (e.g., IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management)
Preferred: AI/ML model management tools, requirements traceability platforms, enterprise architecture tools
Experience Level: Proficient with documentation and collaboration tools; comfortable working within AI/ML project environments
Overall Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document business needs, goals, and expected KPIs/ROI for AI projects
Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) outlining desired outcomes and success metrics
Create Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) detailing functional and non-functional requirements, reasoning flows, and integration points with existing systems
Prepare detailed Use Case Narratives illustrating interactions between users, LLMs, and AI agents, including structured inputs, outputs, and workflows
Map current workflows and conduct impact analysis, especially regarding the integration of GenAI/Agentic AI into operational processes
Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices to link business needs through architecture, testing, and acceptance phases
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and technical feasibility
Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to support delivery and change management
Ensure requirement completeness, clarity, and adherence to organizational standards while supporting project timelines
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages: Not typically required for this role, but understanding of Python, R, or similar languages is a plus (Preferred)
Databases/Data Management: Basic familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data repositories used in AI projects (Preferred)
Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms supporting AI development, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (Preferred)
Frameworks and Libraries: Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) is advantageous but not mandatory
Development Tools and Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, requirements management tools, architecture modeling tools (Essential)
Security Protocols: Awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance standards related to AI and data handling (Preferred)
Experience Requirements
More than 6 years of business analysis experience in technology or AI-driven projects
Proven experience working on AI/ML projects, especially implementing GenAI or Large Language Models in business solutions
Experience with end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and testing
Familiarity with AI/ML industry standards, best practices, and related compliance policies
Prior experience working in digital banking, finance, or telecom sectors is a plus but not mandatory
Day-to-Day Activities
Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather detailed business and technical requirements for AI initiatives
Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and development teams to translate requirements into actionable specifications
Create and maintain BRDs, FSDs, Use Case Narratives, RTMs, and impact analyses
Lead workshops and review sessions to validate requirements and gather feedback
Support testing and validation of AI solutions, ensuring compliance with business needs and KPIs
Track project progress, evaluate deliverables, and adjust requirements as needed
Support change management and facilitate communication between stakeholders and project teams
Monitor AI solution performance post-implementation to ensure alignment with expectations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Certifications such as IIBA CBAP, CCBA, or related business analysis credentials preferred
Continuous learning in AI/ML concepts, data management, and project management methodologies
