Job Description

About us

Opteon is an international provider of valuations, advisory and specialist property services in the Australian, New Zealand and US markets. Recognised as the largest valuation professional services firm in these regions, we deliver meaningful solutions for our clients across all property types and market sectors. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and change, positioning the company as one of the most prominent property services providers. Our future growth strategy is for organic growth, diversification, and international expansion.

About the role

The AI & Automations Enablement Specialist is a hands-on solutions lead responsible for the end-to-end analysis, design, build, and deployment of AI and automation solutions that improve productivity, utilisation, and cost-to-serve across the ANZ Valuation business.

Operating within Technology & Engineering and partnering closely with the ANZ Engineering team, you will personally develop business-ready solutions using UiPath and frontier AI models (including Claude and Microsoft Copilot), and enable business teams to adopt and self-serve through training, prompt libraries, and lightweight governance.

The role owns solutions end to end from elicitation and solution design through to build, deployment, and hyper-care working alongside the Senior Solutions Lead, business stakeholders, and engineering peers. You will build deep relationships with ANZ Valuation stakeholders, identify and prioritise quick-win opportunities, design and deliver RPA and AI-enabled solutions.

About you

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying automation and/or AI solutions in a business setting.

  • Demonstrated experience personally developing and deploying production automations with UiPath and/or AI models not in an oversight or design-only capacity.

  • Hands-on experience with frontier AI models (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GPT-class models), including prompt design, configuration, evaluation, and iteration.

  • Strong experience gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements for RPA and AI-enabled solutions, and translating them into implementation-ready designs.

  • Proven ability to design and build end-to-end automation solutions including process decomposition, exception handling, decision points, and handoffs across RPA and AI components.

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate between business, technical, and AI concepts.

  • Strong commercial mindset - able to prioritise based on value, effort, and risk, and focus on outcomes over outputs.

  • Pragmatic, curious, and outcomes-focused, able to move quickly from idea to working solution while maintaining quality and safety.

  • Desirable: experience deploying AI agents or agentic workflows; prior exposure to property, valuation, or financial services.
