Our Objectives
Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Application Engineer to join our cutting-edge research team. As an AI Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning through innovative AI application development , and the deployment and maintenance of machine learning techniques focused on aircraft manufacturing, factory digitalization, etc. Your work will have a direct impact on developing state-of-the-art AI/ML models and systems that address real-world challenges and push the boundaries of intelligent systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML pipelines, and application
Build software verification systems that comply with aviation safety requirements
Work effectively within an international team using English communication
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree with under 3 years’ related work experience.
Hands-on experiences with designing, developing and deploying part of an end-to-end AI solutions in production environments.
Proficiency in one of the modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang)
Proficiency in at least one of the following areas:
Front-end development with modern framework(e.g. React, NextJS)
Back-end development with Python (e.g., FastAPI)
Machine learning model serving (e.g. ONNX runtime, triton, bentoML)
knowledge of model deployment on infrastructure-agnostic environment (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker-Compose)
knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
knowledge of ML Model development (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and deployment experiences (e.g., ONNX)
Effective verbal and written English communication skill
Thorough knowledge of computer architecture and networks
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
Experience in developing speech-to-text and translation applications is a plus
knowledge with Cloud platform and service (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Certificated Kubernetes Administrator(CKA) certification is preferred.
Experience of LLM Agent development is a plus
Experience of optimizing end-to-end service performance including model serving is a plus
Participation in open source project development is a plus
