AJW is building its next phase of capability around data, AI, and automation to deliver on its mission to transform aviation efficiency. This role is focused on applying AI and data science to real operational challenges across AJW Group. You will design and deploy practical solutions that improve speed and efficiency and increase reliability across AJW’s global operations.
Develop and deploy machine learning models to improve forecasting, inventory optimisation, and demand planning
Build AI-driven solutions to automate manual processes across operations, logistics, and commercial teams
Analyse large operational datasets to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Translate business challenges into scalable data science solutions with measurable impact
Work closely with operational leaders to embed AI into day-to-day decision-making
Design and maintain data pipelines and models that integrate with existing systems (e.g. ERP platforms such as Quantum)
Monitor and continuously improve model performance in live environments
Communicate outputs clearly to senior stakeholders, linking insights to commercial outcomes
Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and predictive modelling
Experience handling large, complex datasets (SQL, ETL, data warehousing)
Proven track record of deploying models into production (not just prototyping)
Experience working in commercially driven environments where outputs must deliver measurable value
Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights
