SUMMARY

As an AI & Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building, managing, and maintaining AI agents and automated workflows across company’s technology ecosystem. This role is execution-focused and works closely with Network Administrators and Operations leadership, who define what needs to be built, while this role owns how those solutions are implemented, tested, documented, and maintained.

This position requires a strong self-starter who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple automation initiatives, and proactively moving work forward with minimal oversight. You will play a key role in reducing manual effort, increasing consistency, and scaling how company delivers value to both clients and internal teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  AI Agent Development
• 
  Build and configure AI agents within the company’s AI platform based on documented requirements
• 
  Design agent logic, prompts, triggers, and actions
• 
  Test, refine, and validate AI agents prior to production deployment
• 
  Maintain and improve existing AI agents as clients and internal needs evolve
• 
  Document AI agents, workflows, dependencies, and logic clearly
• 
  Workflow Automation & Integration
• 
  Build and maintain automated workflows across company systems, including:
• 
  ConnectWise
• 
  IT Glue
• 
  HubSpot
• 
  Client Portal
• 
  Thread
• 
  Customize workflows to align with internal processes and client service models
• 
  Learn and adopt new features for current platforms. Alert team to any changes or updates
• 
  Ensure automations are reliable, scalable, secure, and repeatable
• 
  Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures or workflow issues
• 
  Internal Automation & Process Optimization
• 
  Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation
• 
  Support internal operational initiatives with workflow enhancements
• 
  Collaborate with technical and operations teams to improve efficiency
• 
  Maintain documentation for all automations and workflows
• 
  Collaboration & Execution
• 
  Work closely with Network Administrators to translate defined automation needs into functional solutions
• 
  Provide feedback and improvement ideas back to leadership and technical teams
•

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Experience building workflows or automations in SaaS platforms
• 
  Hands-on experience with automation tools, low-code platforms, or system integrations
• 
  Familiarity working with APIs, triggers, and conditional logic
• 
  Experience documenting technical workflows and solutions
• 
  Prior experience working remotely or offshore preferred
• 
  Experience working with MSP tools or environments
• 
  Familiarity with AI agents, LLMs, or prompt engineering
• 
  Experience with ConnectWise, IT Glue, or HubSpot
• 
  Exposure to AI platforms or automation frameworks
• 
  Strong self-starter with the ability to execute independently once requirements are defined
• 
  Able to work in an asynchronous, remote environment with minimal supervision
• 
  Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• 
  High attention to detail and documentation

  Ability to manage multiple workflows and automation tasks concurrently
