Within this context, the Data & Analytics (D&A) division, which is part of the IT organization, is responsible for overseeing and driving all data- and AI-related topics and initiatives across NN Life Japan. The division plays a central role in embedding data and AI utilization into management and business operations, promoting and governing their use on a company-wide basis.
As AI utilization becomes increasingly advanced and diverse, achieving sustainable value creation under appropriate AI governance has become a critical theme.
In this position, you will be expected to collaborate with business units, IT, legal/risk/compliance departments, and group companies to operate and enhance the existing AI risk framework, while also driving the development of AI platforms and AI agents used within our company, promoting related projects, and supporting AI use cases across various departments.

【Job Description】

Lead, Technical AI Risk Assessment Operations
You will conduct technical AI risk assessments to ensure the safe advancement of all AI projects.
You will enhance the AI risk framework in response to changes in the business environment and technology trends, while also monitoring AI projects. In collaboration with the group, you will verify alignment with the group’s risk framework.
Additionally, you will report AI risk assessment results and share the latest developments with executive-level stakeholders on a quarterly basis.
This role requires strong expertise in the technical aspects of AI risk assessment, and candidates are expected to have the capability to independently lead or contribute to AI development and implementation.

AI Platform Implementation and Enablement
In response to the growing momentum for enterprise-wide adoption of AI agents, you will support the introduction and rollout of AI platforms based on Mosaic AI on Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
By deepening your expertise in these platforms and consolidating information from group companies, you will support users across the organization to enable smooth AI development and adoption in various business areas.
In addition, through the introduction of AutoML on Databricks, you will provide training and ongoing support to help users incorporate machine learning into their daily work. Acting as a central enabler of AI democratization, you will contribute to the creation of AI use cases across the entire organization.

Leadership and Promotion of AI & Data Projects
You will lead AI and data utilization projects in the insurance industry, driving initiatives end-to-end—from identifying business challenges and designing solutions to model development and implementation.
While giving full consideration to regulatory requirements and risk management, you will deliver predictive models and business process automation using customer data, contributing to operational efficiency and improved profitability.
You will also coordinate across departments and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, guiding projects to success from a strategic perspective.

【Qualification (Experience/ Certification)】
＜Must＞

Business-level Japanese proficiency (listening, reading, and writing)
Business-level or higher English proficiency
Strong interest in and curiosity about the latest AI technologies (e.g., prompt engineering)
Strong interpersonal and professional skills, including the ability to proactively report, communicate, and consult (Hou-Ren-Sou)
Someone who can clearly and concisely structure information and communicate effectively with clarity and precision
Hands-on development experience using Python or similar languages (1+ year)
Experience in developing AI applications or AI-enabled systems

Experience in consulting engagements and/or business presentations
Experience managing and governing the business use of generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
Business experience in life insurance and/or non-life insurance domains
