AI Agile Delivery Lead (Senior TPM + Scrum Master)

The AI CoE focuses on building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems, establishing best practices for enterprise AI adoption, and integrating AI capabilities into core business platforms.

As an Agile Delivery Lead (Senior TPM + Scrum Master hybrid) in the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), you will run the delivery operating system for multiple AI squads, ensuring predictable execution, strong Agile discipline, and high accountability across cross-functional stakeholders.

This role is accountable for end-to-end Agile execution using Azure DevOps (Boards), including sprint ceremonies, backlog and sprint hygiene, capacity planning and bottleneck visibility, dependency and risk management (RAID), and driving closure of action items across engineering, platform teams (ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, M365/SharePoint), cybersecurity, and leadership stakeholders.

Core Outcomes (Non-Negotiable)

  • Run sprint planning, daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives for multiple squads.
  • Enforce Azure DevOps Boards hygiene quality work items, estimates, dependencies, sprint updates, WIP discipline, and clear sprint scope boundaries.
  • Provide clear capacity and bottleneck visibility are squads loaded, blocked, or underutilized?
  • Maintain a single source of truth RAID + action tracker, with weekly closure and transparent ownership across teams and leadership.
  • Produce weekly exec-ready status reporting (progress, risks, dependencies, decisions required, next milestones).

Key Responsibilities Agile Delivery & Scrum Operations

  • Own Agile delivery cadence across squads: sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement (with PM/PO), sprint demos, and retrospectives.
  • Enforce disciplined sprint execution: clear sprint goals, WIP limits, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done.
  • Ensure work items are sprint-ready with estimates, dependency links, scope clarity, and test/release criteria.
  • Improve delivery predictability through metrics and continuous improvement (spillover reduction, blocker aging, cycle time improvement).

Azure DevOps (Boards) Delivery Hygiene

  • Maintain clean Backlogs / Boards / Sprints in Azure DevOps: work item quality, state transitions, iteration paths, area paths, tagging conventions, and parent/child linking.
  • Ensure dependency tracking is explicit using work item links, queries, and dependency views.
  • Establish and enforce consistent standards: work item templates, Definition of Ready/Done gates, and sprint reporting cadence.

Technical Program Management & Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Own execution across multiple AI initiatives: milestones, dependencies, integration readiness, and release planning.
  • Drive coordination across enterprise stakeholders: ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, M365/SharePoint, Security, DevOps/Infra, and business owners.
  • Lead risk and dependency management (RAID) and proactively escalate decision blockers with crisp options and recommendations.
  • Coordinate go-live readiness: environment availability, access readiness, security approvals, QA/UAT readiness, and change management steps.

Visibility, Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Build and maintain dashboards/queries in Azure DevOps for transparency: velocity, burn-down/burn-up, blocker aging, dependency burn-down, and sprint health.
  • Publish weekly status updates and leadership-ready summaries (milestones achieved, next priorities, risks, and asks).
  • Ensure decision logs and meeting outcomes are captured with owners and due dates; follow through to closure.

Release Readiness & Delivery Governance

  • Own release checklists and execution readiness: testing plans, approvals, operational readiness, and rollback considerations.
  • Coordinate post-release stabilization and lessons learned; convert findings into actionable process improvements.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years’ experience in Technical Program Management / Delivery Management, including Scrum Master responsibilities.
  • Strong, practical expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery for software teams with cross-team dependencies.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards)—backlogs, sprints, queries, dashboards, reporting, and hygiene enforcement.
  • Proven ability to drive accountability and action closure across engineering, platform teams, and leadership.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills; comfortable operating in ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience delivering AI/ML or LLM-enabled products (RAG, copilots, workflow automation, enterprise assistants).
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, M365/SharePoint, and Azure services.
  • Familiarity with security/compliance workflows (RBAC, private endpoints, managed identities, approvals).
  • Certifications: CSM/PSM, SAFe, PMP (any are a plus).
