AI / Agentic Engineer – Senior – EY GDS Spain – Hybrid

Senior AI / Agentic Engineer

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI / Agentic Engineer with
a minimum of 3+ years of experience in designing, building and scaling AI-driven
and agentic systems in production environments.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of modern AI platforms,
data ecosystems, and agent-based architectures, with experience delivering
end-to-end AI solutions that combine data engineering, advanced analytics and
autonomous agent workfl ows at enterprise scale.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Applied AI, or related fi elds, with
hands-on experience delivering AI and agentic solutions in production.

AI Platforms & Data Ecosystems:

•Strong experience working with Azure Foundry to design, build and
operationalize AI solutions across the enterprise.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Fabric for unifi ed analytics, data integration
and AI workloads across data engineering, data science and business intelligence.

• Practical experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing, feature
engineering, and advanced analytics supporting AI use cases.
Agentic AI & Frameworks:

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic architectures,
including task decomposition, memory, planning and tool usage.

• Profi ciency with Agentic Frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen,
Semantic Kernel or equivalent frameworks for multi-agent and autonomous AI
systems.

Programming & Engineering:

• Advanced Python skills following best software engineering practices including

Git, testing, versioning, modularization and clean architecture principles.
API Development & Integration:

• Experience building and integrating APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or similar
frameworks to expose AI and agentic services.

Cloud Platforms:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure (preferred), including deploying and
integrating AI solutions within enterprise cloud environments.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate eƯectively across
cross-functional teams including data engineers, platform teams, product owners
and business stakeholders.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data
Science, or a related technical fi eld.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Responsible & Trusted AI:
• •Knowledge of responsible AI principles, governance, transparency, explainability,
  and ethical considerations in AI and agentic systems.
  Scalability & Performance:
• Experience designing scalable AI and agent-based solutions, considering
  performance, cost eƯiciency and reliability in enterprise environments.
  Monitoring & Observability:
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability for AI systems,
  including tracking agent behavior, performance and failures.
  Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into robust, scalable and
  maintainable AI and agentic architectures.
