Job Description

Working alongside the AI Adoption Lead and the wider Data & AI team, you’ll help deliver and scale our AI adoption programme across The Warehouse Group. You’ll turn adoption priorities into clear communications, useful learning resources, practical events and reusable content that helps our people discover, understand and safely use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

A typical day could include:

  • Supporting the launch and ongoing rhythm of an AI Champion Network and related communities of practice
  • Coordinating AI showcases, webinars, workshops, conferences and other learning events
  • Turning event content, business stories and learning sessions into reusable assets
  • Creating and maintaining user-facing documentation, guides and training materials for approved AI tools and solutions
  • Running internal workshops and demonstrations to build AI literacy and confidence
  • Acting as a first point of contact for business stakeholders on AI adoption queries, feedback and support needs
  • Monitoring adoption activity and gathering feedback to help improve future enablement
  • Using approved AI tools and automation to improve content creation, resource management and workflow efficiency

Qualifications

We're seeking someone who can transform complex or technical topics into simple, practical resources tailored for different audiences. You'll need strong attention to detail and the ability to keep information current, searchable and easy to use.

Experience supporting employee communities, champion networks, learning groups or communities of practice is essential, along with a proven track record creating clear, useful communication content across multiple channels including SharePoint, Viva Engage, newsletters, videos and presentations.

You should be confident using Microsoft 365 and generative AI tools, particularly Microsoft Copilot, with practical hands-on experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites, pages and content libraries.

Above all, we're looking for someone who combines technical proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively and support others in adopting new tools and ways of working.

It would be a bonus if you also have exposure to:

  • Viva Engage, Viva Amplify, Power Automate or Copilot Studio
  • Change management, digital adoption, internal communications or learning design
  • Video editing, graphic design or digital production tools
  • Knowledge management, content governance, tagging or information architecture
  • Working in a large, distributed retail or technology environment

The Warehouse Group

About The Warehouse Group

The Warehouse Group (TWG) is a New Zealand success story, founded by Sir Stephen Tindall and evolved from a single The Warehouse store to become one of the largest retailing groups in New Zealand with $3 billion in sales. TWG consists of three core retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. We have over 180 retail stores, online stores as well as distribution centres throughout New Zealand. We also have two overseas sourcing offices located in China and India. We are a people-centred business with more than 10,000 team employees across our locations.

TWG is known for being Here for Good - it’s who we are and what keeps us focused to succeed. It represents our commitment to better living for all New Zealanders, through sustainable retail products and practices and the mission of contributing to the long-lasting health of our planet.

Over the years, we’ve raised over 50 million dollars for New Zealand communities and have contributed to countless community-focussed initiatives. We were the first company in New Zealand to add a Shielded Site link to the Women's Refuge website to help protect those experiencing family violence, and were a key supporter of the Government’s Family Violence Victims’ Protection Bill. We were New Zealand’s first large company and the third major retailer in the world to go carbon neutral.

While we are 40+ years old as a business, in many ways we feel we’re just getting started.
