The AHJ and Utility Requirements Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring SunPower's residential solar installations meet the ever-changing requirements set by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and utility companies. This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of SunPower's AHJ database, proactively identifying and resolving defect trends caused by jurisdiction or utility requirements, and serving as a key resource for field crews, schedulers, and QC teams when requirements change. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally to close the loop between real-world defects and the data that drives SunPower's permitting and installation processes. This is an entry-level opportunity well suited to someone who enjoys research, data accuracy, and process improvement, and who wants to build a foundation in the solar industry's regulatory and utility landscape

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
