
The major responsibility of PLC leadership is to lead effective teacher groups that are responsible for ensuring that all students are mastering the essential curriculum and that students are being appropriately challenged. PLC leaders are teachers who lead a grade level, subject area or department. These teams make informed decisions about curriculum and instruction based on research and the analysis of student work.
