Join our Crop Protection team at Vitacress Herbs, where you’ll help us grow the highest quality fresh herbs for the UK market.

• What you’ll be doing
As a Crop Protection Operative, you’ll make a real impact every day by:
• Safely applying biological controls and pesticides
• Spotting early signs of pests and diseases
• Supporting the design of pest & disease control strategies
• Helping plan spray application programmes
• Keeping accurate, up to date records
• Providing support across the wider crop production team when needed
Your work will directly help keep our crops healthy and ensure we meet production goals.

• What you’ll bring
Essential:
• Experience working in protected plant production systems
• PA1, PA2 & PA6 pesticide application qualifications
• Good level of English and Maths
• Excellent observation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, caring attitude
• Ability to adapt to change
• A team focused approach
• Willingness to undertake training
Desirable:
• Knowledge of pest & disease recognition
• Awareness of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles
• Ability to work confidently with a wide range of people
