The Agronomists/Animal Scientist will contribute to a positive experience for both clients and farmers byassistingwith data collection and development of content for a variety of reports and other deliverables. Agronomists/Animal Scientists work collaboratively across the organization on various aspects of projects, mostnotablyfor the pork industry

Assists Lead Agronomist with client relationships
Manages pork client data onboarding
Manages and retains producer relationships with pork producers from beginning to end of a project
Responsible for agronomic and livestock data verification and data checks
Communicates scientific explanations to various audiences
Contributes to various projects within the Eocene client base
Collaborates and communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical
Maintains regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership
Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company polies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or master’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Animal Science or a related field
At least two years of industry experience working within animal agriculture or row crop production
Animal agriculture experience within the swine industry or swine related industry
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to review environmental analysis data, soil tests, and other agricultural analyses for scientific evaluations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel for meetings with clients and site visits and to industry conferences/congresses as needed
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to independently prioritize and complete tasks and manage time efficiently to help ensure project deliverables
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
