A leading agricultural services provider specializing in soil sampling, laboratory testing, and agronomy advisory services is seeking an Agronomist to support farmers in optimizing their crop yields. With a commitment to sustainable agriculture, the organization delivers expert analysis and recommendations to enhance soil health and crop productivity.

We are looking for a dedicated Agronomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with farmers and internal teams to provide expert guidance on soil health, crop production, and sustainable farming practices This role involves conducting field research, analyzing soil and crop data, and developing strategies to enhance agricultural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct soil sampling and analysis to assess nutrient levels and soil composition.
• Develop and recommend fertilization and crop management plans based on analytical results.
• Provide on-site agronomy support to farmers, addressing concerns related to crop health and soil management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate innovative solutions into client recommendations.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely analysis of soil and crop samples.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities, research findings, and client interactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in agronomy or related agricultural roles.
• Strong understanding of soil science, crop production, and sustainable agriculture practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis related to soil and crop health.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with agronomy software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
