About the Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Agriculture Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the agricultural aspects of 20 large properties, ensuring sustainable and profitable farming practices. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of agricultural engineering principles, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive land management plans, maximizing productivity and efficiency across their holdings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of land management plans for 20 large properties, focusing on optimizing agricultural production. (Here, you'll collaborate with our Landscape Architect to ensure the plans consider both agricultural needs and aesthetic landscaping goals.)

• Conduct feasibility studies and soil analysis to determine optimal crop selection and planting strategies.

• Design and oversee the implementation of efficient irrigation systems for all properties. (While the design might involve collaboration with a Landscape Architect, your expertise in agricultural water management will be crucial.)

• Develop and implement sustainable agricultural practices, including pest control, crop rotation, and soil conservation methods.

• Manage agricultural equipment and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and efficient utilization.

• Analyze agricultural data and identify opportunities for improvement in yield, resource use, and cost reduction.

• Collaborate with the Landscape Architect and other team members, including Agricultural Consultants brought in for specific projects, to ensure cohesive land management strategies.

• Oversee a team of agricultural workers, providing training and guidance to ensure successful implementation of plans.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in agricultural technology and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as an Agricultural Engineer in a large-scale farming operation.

• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing sustainable agricultural practices.

• In-depth knowledge of soil science, irrigation systems, crop production techniques, and agricultural equipment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant agricultural software (if applicable).

• A valid UAE driver's license (preferred).

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.

Work Location: Dubai, UAE.

Salary: AED 8,000 up to AED 12,000.
