We have excellent opportunity to make a real difference to our Agribusiness customers! This could be the perfect opportunity for you, if you are passionate about Agri, and want to progress your career in an equally exciting and challenging role as an Agribusiness Partner (P1) in Ashburton.

We sat down with our Senior Partner, who let us know the following about the role:

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of Agribusiness relationships in order to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction and credit risk profile consistent with BNZ Partners objectives.
  • Be a trusted partner for clients by demonstrating an understanding of their business, objectives, challenges and opportunities while utilising commercial acumen to help them grow.
  • Monitor externally generated economic information to be able to keep abreast of the market and add value to communications with the client and advocate network, and to assist in the management of economic exposure.

What is the team culture and environment like?

You will be joining a supportive team of experienced Agribusiness Partners, allowing you to share knowledge, learn from others and continually grow and develop.

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?

We need to find someone who is motivated by connecting customers and industry – not afraid to put themselves out there or pick up the phone to see how we can help.

They also need to be able to be seen as a “trusted advisor” and build confidence by demonstrating their ability to work effectively through requirements for customers and support them to achieve their goals.

What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?

We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious team player who has a growth mindset and desire to contribute to a high performing team.

The market is competitive and commercially orientated and consequently this role requires the Partner to have commercial acumen, understand the value of networking and connecting people and what it means to create success!
