As an Agility Lead-Health Care Payments in Commercial and Investment Banking's Payments Technology team, you will play a significant role as a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices within our teams. Leveraging your deep knowledge of product development methodologies and Agile principles, use your expert guidance, mentorship, and support to teams to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. As a recognized subject matter expert, put your knowledge to use to work on complex issues, exercise considerable judgment, and make impactful decisions that shape the operational and business direction of your sub-function. Your leadership, communication, and coaching skills will be instrumental in empowering teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively, while continuously adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Facilitate the adoption and adaptation of agile methodologies within teams and provide guidance, training, and support to propel continuous improvement and high performance
  • Facilitates scrum events including but not limited to daily scrum, refinement, planning, review, and retrospective
    Assists teams in resolving impediments regardless of where they are in the organization
  • Builds productive relationships amongst the team and follows through on commitments to gain trust and respect
  • Leads and coaches the benefits of working in an agile manner, including agile practices, events, and techniques to all employees within span of influence
  • Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Enable agile project delivery by facilitating the prioritization of tasks and managing resources to effectively address complex situations to achieve project goals
  • Analyze and interpret policies, identify key barriers, and apply your critical thinking skills to address challenges within the product development lifecycle
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate delivery insights and operational planning (e.g., synthesizing metrics and impediments into actions), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
  • Promotes and standardizes reuse-first, AI-assisted continuous improvement practices across teams (e.g., standardizing templates and lessons learned), ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management
  • Practical experience in collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices
  • Demonstrate proficiency in facilitating group discussions, decision-making processes, and collaborative activities within teams to achieve product goals
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization, effectively guiding group discussions and decision-making processes within the domain context
  • Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support agile coaching and delivery workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted insights and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
  • Sound understanding of Scaling framework such as SAFe and various other Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban
  • Showcase proficiency in agile delivery and agile approaches, with a developing ability to coach teams and strive for continuous improvement and high performance

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Possess the business acumen required to ensure that goals, scope, and product domain knowledge is shared and understood by everyone on the team as well as possible
  • Knowledge of JIRA and should have worked on JIRA and associated workflow management and other SDLC enabling tools
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; adept at decision-making in fast-paced environments
