Job Description

• • • Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates to provision and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environments.
    • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit to enable automated deployments and version control.
    • Design and implement S3 bucket architectures and SFTP integrations for secure file ingestion and storage.
    • Build and maintain AWS Lambda functions to process event-driven workloads, particularly file ingestion from S3 and transformation into DynamoDB.
    • Develop AWS Glue ETL jobs using Python and Apache Spark for large-scale data transformation and integration workflows.
    • Create and execute unit and integration test cases for AWS Lambda functions and Glue jobs to ensure reliability and performance.
    • Work extensively with JSON data structures for ingestion, transformation, and storage across services.
    • Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity in AI-assisted engineering workflows.

• • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development, with strong focus on serverless and data engineering architectures.
    • Proven expertise designing and implementing infrastructure-as-code using AWS CloudFormation (or similar IaC tools).
    • Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with AWS CodeCommit and related DevOps tooling.
    • Deep hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, including event-driven architectures and file-processing workflows triggered by S3 events.
    • Solid experience working with Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and secure file transfer mechanisms such as SFTP integrations.
    • Extensive experience developing AWS Glue ETL jobs using Python and Apache Spark for scalable data processing.
    • Strong background in writing unit tests and integration tests for serverless applications (Lambda, Glue, and data pipelines).
    • High proficiency in Python programming and working with JSON-based data structures and APIs.
    • Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve delivery speed and code quality.
    • Strong understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectural patterns.
    • Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using AWS-native tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
    • Solid knowledge of security best practices in AWS (IAM roles/policies, data encryption, least privilege access).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex, fast-paced, and agile environments.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering teams and C-level stakeholders.
