Job Description:

We at Johnson Controls are seeking experienced Software Engineers with expertise in Front End, Backend and Database. The preferred experience is in ASP.Net, C#, .Net Core, Angular 7+, React, React.Js, SQL, MySQL and Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services. This role requires a deep understanding of modern web development technologies and cloud platforms. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and organization.

What You Will Do In this role:

  • Agile Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions to ensure effective team collaboration and delivery.
  • Team Coaching: Coach Agile teams on Scrum values, principles, and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and self-organization.
  • Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments that may impact team productivity, delivery timelines, and overall effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Delivery Managers, Architects, and Development Teams to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
  • Agile Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, cycle time, lead time, and team health indicators to drive data-driven improvements.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Identify, communicate, and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams to minimize delivery impacts and ensure smooth execution.

Must Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and 8-12 years of overall IT industry experience preferred. with strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
  • SAFe certifications - SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure effective team delivery.
  • Support SAFe Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART events, dependency management, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.
  • Track Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown, and PI Predictability, and provide visibility into risks, issues, and progress.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools Azure DevOps, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience
