Agile Project Manager - AI Digital Transformation (Financial Services)

What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $65-75 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $80-90 per hour.
• 6-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
• Hybrid: 3 days/week in Toronto office.
Responsibilities:
• Manage projects related to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, digitization, and expense reduction programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners, including engineering, UX, marketing, IT teams, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable Gen AI solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate business and technical projects of moderate to large scope through all phases of initiation, development, and implementation.
• Support functional teams with ad hoc requests and analytical work to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactional requests while safeguarding customer assets.
• Execute and support company, divisional, and operational strategies.
• Define and manage project scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation plans with clients.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses for project initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and schedules while meeting business objectives.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks.
• Manage project expenses and budget delivery.
• Provide regular and effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, sponsors, management, clients, and vendors while managing expectations and relationships.
• Identify project resource requirements and establish roles, expectations, and goals for team members.
• Participate in the negotiation and management of contract terms and conditions for consultants and vendors.
• Conduct After-Action Reviews.
• Stay current with AI tools and industry trends through training, self-study, conferences, and professional networking.
• Share best practices and initiatives across functional areas.
• Partner with IT teams to support the execution of technology initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of services from key vendors.
• Manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities with varying deadlines.
• Handle high-volume and complex subject matter when required.
What you will need to succeed:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent business experience.
• PMP, CSPM, CCMP, Prince, or related certifications are considered assets.
• 5 years of project team experience.
• 5 years of experience within the financial services sector.
• Full project lifecycle experience.
• SDLC experience.
• Previous experience in digital transformation initiatives.
• Thorough understanding of products, administration compliance, operations, systems, and relevant financial products.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and tracking tools.
• Excellent working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MURAL, Lucid, Microsoft Office, and related business desktop applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically, assess alternatives for short- and long-term impacts, and make decisive recommendations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively.
